Do you have no clue to how to get started? We have some ideas for you!
Open a door for someone - especially if the person is elderly or disabled & can't open the door on their own.
Buy someone a cup of coffee.
Say to an overstressed cashier, "Smile! It's almost over. The world has not ended :)" And be sincere about it too. (and yes we actually did this hehe December 21, 2012 - see we are still here ;;grin;; )
Donate your time and/or canned food to a local food bank
Give to the - these people rock! They mean what they say and they say what they do - SO GIVE!

Use your manners at the grocery store "excuse me please"

Leave a nice tip in a tip jar ( we mean a tip jar that is already there at the establishment)
Volunteer your time to a soup kitchen
Bring a gift to a stranger (i.e. to your favorite place of business. Do you have a favorite cashier and/or someone that you wish to show your appreciation to?)
Bake something nice for your co-workers or bring breakfast (i.e. doughnuts)
Adopt a pet from the Human Society or your local animal shelter
Become a victim's advocate for M.A.D.D. (Mother's Against Drunk Driving)
Giving out coupons that you don't need to strangers at the supermarket
Pay for someone's expired or soon-to-be-expired parking meter
